Brides are perhaps my favorite of all subjects to photograph. There is an unspoken joy about a bride or bride to be that radiates. This beautiful bride to be (who is getting married TOMORROW) was so much fun. I wanted to share some of the pictures from her bridal shoot, and cannot wait to photograph her wedding tomorrow. She is a beautiful bride with a beautiful heart (and beautiful big green eyes..).

I just realized the pictures of my friend's little boy never posted! So, here are a couple that I loved. What a delightful little baby boy..

Simplicity

Here are a couple of pictures I took of my little girl yesterday. Her hair was tousled, she had picked out her own outfit, and I'm not sure, but I think there might have even been a hint of yellow popsicle around her lips. These are some of my favorite pictures I've taken of her this year. Great pictures aren't all about the props, backgrounds, and forced smiles. A great picture, in my opinion, is one that is completely natural. Although, tasteful use of props can be very flattering. This is just an example of a simple yet precious picture. From my experience, I find that the best pictures are taken just seconds AFTER the posed and forced smiles... :)

The past month has been very busy!!! Between taking pictures and keeping up with a very active 2 year old, I have had my work cut out for me!!! Here are a couple of pictures from a wedding I shot in February. Such a fun wedding! Also included are a couple of pictures from a photo shoot last week with a friend's one year old little boy! I'm new at this, so bear with me! Purpose of this blog/website in a nutshell: I love to take pictures, it's what I do. It allows me to be a stay at home mommy to the sweetest little girl in the world. And our family is growing, so the more business, the better!
